2006 PuroSystems recruits well-renowned Franchise industry executive Keith Gerson as President and Chief Operating Officer to lead the PuroClean franchise network. With an extensive background in systems development, Franchise relations, Franchise sales expertise and a passion for developing a world-class brand, Mr. Gerson sets the stage for strategic growth.
2006 Purofirst Franchisees begin converting to the PuroClean model and the network grows to 100 PuroClean offices nationwide.

To accommodate its rapid growth, the PuroClean training headquarters expands, known as the Franchise Support Center, from Fort Lauderdale to a custom-built facility in Tamarac, Florida, complete with a state-of-the-art training simulator, training classroom and warehouse facility.

2001 PuroSystems develops a three-day dry down process called the PuroClean QuickDry System, drastically reducing claims losses for insurance companies.
2001 Recognizing the industry demand, PuroSystems creates the PuroClean Franchise opportunity enabling entrepreneurs with strong sales and marketing skills the ability to take advantage of its recession-proof business model. PuroClean services focus on the cleaning aspect of property damage, expanding the owner opportunity to entrepreneurs without any restoration background. With very little starting capital and absolutely no technical experience necessary, PuroClean Franchises begin opening up throughout the country, with the first office opening in Broward County, Florida.

1999 PuroSystems becomes one of the first mitigation companies to provide Continuing Education courses for the insurance industry.
1996 PuroSystems introduces company-branded restoration product and equipment line at first annual national convention in Orlando, FL.
1991 First Purofirst franchise opens. Purofirst is one of the first companies to offer a single source provider solution to the insurance industry for remediation, mitigation and structure repair.
1990 PuroSystems is co-founded by Dick Spohn and Rory O’Dwyer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
