Dry Ice Blast Cleaning (DIBC) is used throughout assembly plants to clean dirty equipment and remove grease, dirt, and oil. DIBC does not require an expensive secondary waste disposal or produce potentially explosive gasses, so it is safe in the vicinity of electrical arcs. Unlike conventional sand blasting, DIBC does not leave sand and grit behind that must be removed to prevent damage to bearings and other machinery parts.
