ON CALL LABOR
 
PuroClean Disaster Recovery Services specializes in the cleaning & drying of properties suffering from Water, Mold & Fire damage. We are a 24/7/365 business. As on-call labor, you will be called upon from time to time to help in the services for these properties. You may go extended periods of time without receiving a call. You may also go a month or three working consistently 40-hours a week.  
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Working underneath a Lead Service Technician in a team environment.
  • Moving of heavy furniture and drying equipment
  • Removal of contaminated building materials (flooring, cabinets, drywall, etc.)
  • Wearing personal protective equipment in the cleaning of contaminated properties (tyvek suit¸respirator, nitril/latex gloves, etc)
  • Need to have Tetanus immunization up to date.
 
Criteria:
  • All Labor starts at $10/hour. Increases in pay rate depend on availability, performance, honesty & dependability.
  • All Labor work as 1099 contractors. 
  • You can be called with a week, day or hours notice. If you are available, you will be given directions on where to go. If not available, you will be on the top of the rotation for the next job.
  • You are never allowed to work if you have had any alcohol what-so-ever. Be honest & you will move to the top of the rotation on the next job.
  • You must be drug free. We reserve the right to test any person at any time.
  • Uniform: tan/khaki cargo shorts or pants, work shoes or boots & staff t-shirt. All labor staffing will be charged $10 for a t-shirt, which will be taken from paycheck.
  • You are allowed a 10-minute break every 1.5 hours. If in a tyvek suit breaks are taken when needed, due to high heat in suits.
  • You are allowed a 30-minute lunch break during a 6-hour shift. 
  • Timesheets are distributed each day. Your time starts when you either show up on job site, check-in at office or are picked up by PuroClean vehicle. Same for check-out time.
  • Labor is accountable for damage in properties.
