Here is a little background on some of our key team members, so that you can understand the people behind our company:
Chris Hoy
Chris Hoy comes to PuroClean with two decades of experience in contracting and home repair.
Chris has worked as crew member, supervisor, and foreman for various construction companies, where he managed general projects in both residential and commercial markets. As Project Supervisor for Helmuth Industries, he was accountable for all aspects of project completion, including hiring, training, and supervising twenty-five employees.
After ten years of supervisory roles, Chris used his skills and contacts to found the contracting company C&R Services with his wife, Robin. As co-owner, he developed lasting relationships with existing customers who were confident to refer new clients to his service. Chris's work included the remodeling of kitchens, bathrooms, and basements, as well as the installation of windows, doors, decks and the completion of painting projects.
Currently, as co-owner of a PuroClean Restoration Service, Chris takes pride in responding quickly and efficiently to the damage caused by fire, water, mold and biohazards to fill any restoration and mitigation needs in his community. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his two sons and wife as well as cycling, playing tennis and golf.
Robin Hoy
Robin Hoy comes to PuroClean with valuable experience in multiple administrative environments.
After earning a B.A. in English from Rutgers University, she worked for Barnes & Noble Booksellers in managerial and corporate roles. In 1999, Robin used her administrative skills to found C&R Services with husband, Chris. As co-owner and office manager, she has been involved in all aspects of the company from billing, estimates, and sales, to other aspects of home renovations.
As co-owner and marketing manager of a PuroClean Restoration Service, Robin ensures that clients receive accurate and immediate information, assistance, and service. She is also responsible for administrative duties to guarantee that customers and staff receive the support necessary for smooth project completion.
In her free time, Robin enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband as well as reading, swimming, biking, hiking, and running.
Jeff Fortunato
Jeff Fortunato has professional experience in construction and management.
He comes to PuroClean after working as a carpenter for C&R services, where he assisted with bathroom, basement, and kitchen remodels. Jeff has also worked as manager for various corporate cafés, where he supervised a team of staff to ensure quality customer service.
As a technician at PuroClean, Jeff uses his experience to respond to property damage calls in a timely fashion and to consistently provide excellent customer service to each of his clients.

Malcolm
Malcolm holds the dual titles of Head of Rodent Security and Personal Trainer for the PuroClean franchise.
His interest in property restoration began at five weeks old, when he was rescued from a sewer near the Friends of Linden Animal Shelter. At seven months, Malcolm joined the Hoy family and began pursuing his loftiest goals to date.
Currently, he spends his days protecting all available properties from the damage posed by squirrels and chipmunks, and encouraging employees to use lunch breaks for long, meandering walks in the park.
