PuroClean of Ann Arbor Supports Hands-On Construction Training Through the Washtenaw County CTE Millage

In The Community

At PuroClean of Ann Arbor, we believe that learning by doing builds strong communities. That’s why we proudly support the upcoming Washtenaw County Career Technical Education (CTE) Millage — giving local students hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for successful, in-demand careers.

The CTE Millage, championed by the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD), is designed to expand access to programs that teach real-world skills — from construction and building trades to automotive repair, healthcare, and environmental services. These programs give students a chance to explore high-demand industries and step confidently into their future careers.

Why This Matters to Us at PuroClean

At PuroClean of Ann Arbor, our work begins where construction skills meet restoration expertise. Every flood cleanup, fire rebuild, or property repair we perform depends on a solid foundation of construction knowledge — from framing and drywall to structural restoration and finish work.

That’s why we’re strong supporters of the Washtenaw County Career Technical Education (CTE) Millage. The CTE program helps students gain valuable, hands-on construction training that prepares them for real-world careers in the trades. These students are the future builders, technicians, and restoration experts who will keep Washtenaw County’s homes and businesses safe and functional for years to come.

By investing in construction-focused education today, we are helping to ensure that our community has the skilled professionals it needs to respond when disaster strikes — and to rebuild stronger than before.
