Here are some tips to avoid frozen water lines:

Keep Heat On: Even if you’re not occupying the space, ensure that the heat remains on. Aim to maintain a temperature of at least 55°F in all areas, especially where water pipes are located.

Open Cabinet Doors: If you have pipes under sinks or in cabinets, open the doors to allow warm air to circulate around the pipes.

Seal Drafts: Check for drafts around windows, doors, or other openings and seal them to prevent cold air from entering the building and affecting vulnerable pipes.

Insulate Exposed Pipes: In areas like basements, crawlspaces, or attics, insulate any exposed pipes to provide extra protection from the cold.

Let Faucets Drip: If temperatures are expected to drop significantly, let faucets drip slightly. Moving water is less likely to freeze than standing water.
