When calling in a professional to assess your home, you do so with the hope that they will be honest in their evaluation. It’s difficult enough dealing with water damage, and it becomes even more challenging if you’re worried about dishonesty from those you hire to help.

PuroClean of San Dimas is dedicated to providing direct and efficient service. When you call our technicians, you can rest assured that you and your property are in good hands.

Righting a Wrong Assessment

Our team received a call from a retired woman who found us on Google. She was dealing with some water damage in her kitchen but was having trouble filing the claim with her insurance company.

A plumber, whom she had hired prior to calling PuroClean, submitted a report that a leaky water supply line was causing the damage in her refrigerator and that the leak had been happening for some time. As a result, her insurance company denied her claim.

We assured her that we’d be willing to help her situation. Once our skilled team arrived on the scene, we got to work on the restoration process. However, we discovered that the refrigerator was not the source of the water damage. With the assistance of a general contractor, we learned the actual culprit was the faulty waterproofing of her home’s exterior. The home’s shoddy waterproof walls meant that water from outside was entering the interior.

We used PuroClean state-of-the-art equipment throughout our work. After we completed the job, our crew worked with the homeowner to assist her in writing a claim for her homeowners’ association. Her association later reimbursed her for the repair costs. She was thrilled by the service she received, and we were honored that we were able to help. Congratulations to our compassionate technicians for another job well done!
