It could be because Halloween is very close or it could be I’m a Walking Dead binge watcher but in a ” HYPOTHETICAL Zombie Apocalypse ” What would you do?
The thought of a deadly disease that kills its host and turns them into brain dead cannibals is scary enough to fuel an entire catagory of horror stories and films.
Many simulations have suggested even months after the U.S being infested with zombies , Montana and Nevada being remote areas would remain free of zombies. Just a little thing to keep in mind.
Here’s what you’ll want in your zombie survival kit
- Water ( at least 1 gallon per day/per person)
- Food (stock up on non-perishables)
- Medications (cough drops, fever reducer, immune support etc.)
- Tools and supplies (utility knife, tape, batteries, zip ties etc.)
- Sanitation an hygiene (antibacterial soap, towels, sanitizer, baby wipes)
- Clothing and bedding (change of clothes for each family member, and easy to pack but warm blanket per family member)
- Important documents ( I.D. , birth certificate , social security cards, Family photos)
- First Aid Supplies – They wont help if your bit by a zombie but good for basic cuts that DO NOT NEED INFECTED ( anti-bacterial cream , anti-itch cream , lots of band-aids , peroxide, rubbing alcohol)
Once you have made your emergency kit, the CDC recommends creating a family emergency plan so that everyone in your family knows where to go if zombies start filling the streets- or during any realistic emergency its always good to have a plan.
