Our Story

Out of all the locations close to home, PuroClean of Reston owner, Joseph Ortiz, chose Reston to open his business. According to Virginia.org, Reston has been ranked 7th in the best places to live in America by CNN Money Magazine. Joseph has been working near this area for years. He physically knows how to navigate this region he has chosen to serve, including Reston, Herndon, Tysons, Great Falls, Shady Oak, Vienna, Wolf Trap, Odricks Corner, and Mantua as well.

Joseph has developed relationships with many residents in the local area and understands the need for property damage restoration. The service area is highly populated and consists of large residential communities and many commercial zones. The communities have experienced a lot of water damage in the older homes.  Damage to water lines is also common, an indirect result of moisture build-up in structures leading to mold infestation. Now due to the current pandemic situation, COVID cleaning is also viable, especially in commercial properties.

Having personally experienced property damage in his first home, Joseph knows first-hand how horrible the property damage experience can be. The bathroom line busted in the home and ruined his entire kitchen. This all took place 3 weeks before his wedding. The process of restoration with the contractors and insurance providers did not make it any easier. This is the underlying reason why Joseph is passionate about PuroClean of Reston providing compassionate and professional service.
