Relay For Life 2024

In The Community

On Saturday, July 20th, PuroClean of The Big Island participated in its first Relay For Life of the Big Island event.  There was a total of 71 teams that collectively raised almost $176,000 to help fight cancer.  PuroClean of the Big Island is a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society, sponsoring various local events throughout the year.

Owner/operator Gregory Arianoff is a 10-year cancer survivor and his wife, Kimberly, just celebrated two years in remission. They have been active participants in this annual event for nine years now and were thrilled to be able to enter this year as Team PuroClean.

Their eldest daughter, Olga, and her group, Triple Threat, performed at the Cancer Survivor Luncheon and opened for the Fight Back Ceremony later in the evening.

The Relay for Life of the Big Island first started 32 years ago at a local high school track and has grown into an annual island-wide fundraiser taking place in the town’s baseball stadium. Money raised supports patient programs like free rides to treatment, free places to stay when traveling for treatment, and supports vital cancer research.

PuroClean of The Big Island is here to serve our community. If you have any questions or need help with your remediation project call us today (808) 460-4400.
