There were no lines, no rehearsals, no dress rehearsal. If the name <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0718692\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Larry Reitzer<\/a> sounds familiar, it\u2019s probably because his work has been making you laugh, cry, and feel <em>all the feels<\/em> for decades. His theater journey launched straight out of high school as a production assistant to Broadway legend Arthur Laurents on <em>La Cage Aux Folles<\/em>. Curtain up\u2014this guy never slows down!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\u2019s the writing, producing, and directing force behind beloved shows like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u201cSpin City\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 turned politics into punchlines \u2014 fast, funny, and full of Fox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cUgly Betty\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 A dazzling blend of glam, grit, and empowerment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cJust Shoot Me!\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Sharp wit meets fashion faux pas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cMelissa &amp; Joey\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cMarlon\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Comedies with heart, thanks to Reitzer\u2019s signature touch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Larry Reitzer is currently the powerhouse behind H.E.A.R.T. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hearthilo.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hilo Education Arts Repertory Theatre<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here\u2019s the plot twist: Behind the Hollywood credits and Emmy-worthy scripts, Larry Reitzer is also a <em><strong>true community hero<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\uddb8\u200d\u2642\ufe0f Surprise!
