Join PuroClean of Huntington’s Food Drive Supporting Long Island Cares – April 7 to April 27
At PuroClean of Huntington, our commitment to the community goes far beyond restoring properties — we’re passionate about helping our neighbors in every way possible. This April, we’re proud to host a food drive to support Long Island Cares, one of the region’s most impactful hunger relief organizations. From April 7th to April 27th, we invite the Huntington community to come together and make a difference in the lives of local families by donating non-perishable food items.
Drop-Off Locations in Huntington
To make donating easy and convenient, we’ve partnered with two incredible local organizations who are helping us collect food donations:
- The UPS Store – 223 Wall St, Huntington, NY 11743
- Huntington YMCA – 60 Main St, Huntington, NY 11743
Just stop by during their regular business hours and drop your items into the marked donation boxes.
In-Person Collection at Stop & Shop
We’ll also be collecting donations in person at Stop & Shop (60 Wall St, Huntington, NY 11743) on three separate dates. Come by, say hello to our team, and help us fill our bins with much-needed food for Long Island families:
- Monday, April 7 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday, April 11 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday, April 13 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Whether you bring a few cans or an entire bag, every donation counts.
Why We Support Long Island Cares
Founded in 1980 by the late singer-songwriter and humanitarian Harry Chapin, Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Food Bank has become a cornerstone of hunger relief on Long Island. The organization provides emergency food assistance, delivers vital community programs, and advocates for policies that address the root causes of food insecurity.
Long Island Cares serves over 300,000 Long Islanders annually, including children, seniors, veterans, and working families. Their work ensures that no one on Long Island has to go without a meal — and your donation during our food drive helps fuel that mission.
