5 Powerful Reasons We Loved the Community Baby Shower in Manor, TX

On May 31st, our team at PuroClean of Hutto & Manor had the honor of participating in a beautiful and uplifting event, the Community Baby Shower held at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, located at 12800 Lexington St, Manor, TX. We were invited by Farmers Insurance – Tatiana Guevara and joined as volunteers ready to support and give back.

This event wasn’t just special for the moms and families attending, it was also unforgettable for us. Here are 5 powerful reasons why this experience meant so much to us:

1. Giving Back with Purpose

We helped collect and donate essential items like diapers, shoes, and toys. Watching families pick out what they needed without stress reminded us that generosity, even in small ways, can make a big difference.

2. Connecting with Moms and Families

Expecting mothers and moms with young children were welcomed warmly. Each received two bags and walked through vendor tables, collecting what they needed and learning about valuable resources. Having conversations and simply listening to these women during such a joyful yet challenging time in their lives was deeply moving.

3. Fun and Inclusive Activities for All Ages

From baby-themed games like word searches and guessing the belly size, to raffles and prizes, the atmosphere was full of joy. Vendors even brought activities for older children, making it a family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy.

4. Community Collaboration

This event brought together many local organizations and vendors like PuroClean of Hutto & Manor, all working toward one goal: to support families. Seeing everyone contribute their time, products, or services proved how strong the Manor and greater Austin-area community truly is.
