They meet with customers and walk them through the process, assesses the scope of work as well as supervise, develop, and mentor other technicians working on the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience\/Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of 2 years field experience or;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Certification&nbsp;<strong>REQUIRED&nbsp;<\/strong>and;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IICRC Fire &amp; Smoke Restoration Certification (FSRT) or;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lead Technician is responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Communicate the process to the customer and provide daily updates to insurance partners and centers of influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Assess and evaluate job severity and extent of damages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Understand and promote the operational systems used by the company:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. Dash<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b. Xactimate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c. MICA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Be able to train new employees on the specific responsibilities for Technicians<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Maintaining a professional, positive attitude and appearance at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. Must be willing to wear company provided uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Develop a team culture with all field operations staff and other members of the organization<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specific Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lead Technician is responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Adhere to all OSHA and company safety procedures and standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Understanding adhering to the following restoration procedures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. Water Damage Restoration Procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b. Mold Remediation Equipment and Procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c. Fire and Smoke Cleaning Tools and Procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>d. Carpet Cleaning Equipment and Procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Demonstrating a \u201ccan do\u201d attitude at all times as a team player and completing all necessary paperwork when providing customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Maintaining all equipment and vehicles at a clean and serviceable level; at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to complete emergency jobs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. Valid Diver\u2019s License and ability to drive company vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b. Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c. Able to work for extended time periods in large and confined spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>d.
