#NationalPetDay is days away, and while we all love our furry friends at PuroClean of Mobile, they do tend to bring unwanted smells and dirt into our homes. • Bathe pets regularly.  An important step in ensuring your home does not smell like pets is to have your pets regularly bathed and groomed. This will help keep dirt and unwanted odors from lingering in your home. It is also a good idea to regularly brush your pet to prevent shedding on your furniture.
• Vacuum frequently.  Another helpful tip is to vacuum your carpets and furniture. This will help keep smells from setting in your furniture.
• Use baking soda. Many people find using baking soda helpful in removing pet odors. You can sprinkle a small amount on your carpets or furniture, let it sit, and then vacuum it up. It’s that easy!
• Change air filters. It is important to change your air filters regularly, especially if you have pets in your home. This will help keep the air that is circulating in your home fresh and clean.
• Wash pet beds/toys. Wash your pet’s bed and toys weekly to keep it clean and odorless.
