Many women and men suffer and sacrifice so much when going through breast cancer. On Oct. 8, in our office we were able to share a touching moment with one of our technicians, Jennifer Marcum. As someone who has fought the fight for the past few years , she shared the meaning of breast cancer awareness with all of us. Since this month is so important to her, she passed out pink paracord bracelets with a pink ribbon emblem for all of us to wear as a sign of support. When you think of breast cancer, think of what Jennifer shared with us, “It (breast cancer) does not have a face, a color, a gender or an age and can affect anyone.” Please support the fight!<\/p>\n

BREASTCANCER.ORG reports, “About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12.4%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.” Also reported, “In 2018, about 2,550 men are expected to be diagnosed with the disease.”<\/p>\n
