Leaky Roof Puts a Damper on Local Business

PuroClean Patches Up the Problem Ahead of Deadline

On Friday, August 6, a local business located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, discovered a small problem with a leaky roof. By the time we were called and arrived to assist, standing water covered the floor of the office. Once the leak was addressed and the water had been removed we began the drying and restoration process. The business is closed on weekends so those couple of days didn’t impact them, but the property management wanted the job completed by Tuesday, August 10, so they could reopen with minimal interruption.

Our team, led by technician Travis, really stepped up to get this business back on its feet. After initially removing the water, we set up our QuickDry System™ that uses science to properly manage dehumidification and temperature to effectively and efficiently facilitate drying. The majority of the office was dried in just two days; on the third day, Monday, the final drying was complete and we wrapped everything else up, making the office look just like it did pre-leaky roof.
