In the disaster restoration industry, we are often helping our clients during difficult moments in their lives. Our job is to help ease the stress of these difficult moments by taking care of their property. Recently, we had to assist a client with a biohazard cleanup after her uncle passed away in his home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helping the Client Through a Difficult Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jobs like this are always challenging because there is a lot of emotion involved. The client was the homeowner’s niece and executor. She needed to focus on processing the loss of a loved one and not on cleaning up a mess. It is of utmost importance to us to maintain professionalism and compassion when dealing with situations like these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wanted to get the job done quickly due to the emotional factor involved. Because this job involved death and the possibility of bodily fluids, we classify the cleanup as a biohazard job. We handle the cleanup in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and dispose of all waste off-site while sanitizing all salvageable items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of everything else, her uncle was a hoarder of groceries. There were three rooms downstairs, including the garage filled with seven years of groceries. The areas also needed to be disinfected and deodorized due to rodent droppings. All of our technicians showed patience, professionalism, and compassion under difficult circumstances. We spent over a week helping clean the house, and the niece was thrilled with our services and compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
