24/7 Emergency Response (615)932-2400

Keeping your home safe for your infant is a reasonable concern for expectant mothers.  Follow your health provider’s instructions on what to do to keep your home safe when bringing home your new baby.  There are certain procedures that you should add to your daily routine that can help keep your home and environments safe:

  • Stay away from large crowds.  Clean your hands immediately when entering your home to ensure that you are not bringing in any germs from outside.
  • Clean your hands regularly with soap and water, preferably, or with at least a 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer and ensure that anyone coming in contact with your newborn does the same.
  • Ask everyone visiting your baby if they have had any symptoms of illness, and if they have, ensure that they stay away.
  • Friends and relatives who are not sick must still adhere to covering their mouths and noses with a cloth face cover when visiting, especially when around your baby, as they could still spread COVID-19 even if they do not feel sick.
  • Launder items, including washable plush toys as appropriate following the manufacturer’s instructions. If possible, launder items using the warmest appropriate water setting for the items and dry items completely.
  • Disinfect your home regularly.

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to rise and health and government officials notify the public to take necessary measures to protect themselves, one of the best ways to slow its progress is by performing deep mitigation cleaning of all touch-point surfaces, along with the use of an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant.  These methods of cleaning can be utilized for institutions, commercial, and residential properties. Our Coronavirus cleaning services will help reduce contamination related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Call your local PuroClean office for more information on how we can help clean your property.

Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces are the recommended actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, like Coronavirus. Since any surface can be re-contaminated after cleaning, and because the Coronavirus is also spread person-to-person, PuroClean’s services are not guaranteed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (https://www.cdc.gov/Coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html) for more information regarding Coronavirus, its spread, and prevention.
