Our owners, Tekla and James Henderson, bring their nonprofit management and construction backgrounds together to help property owners overcome the setbacks caused by water, fire, and mold damage. At our office, we pride ourselves on providing quality services and helping homeowners and business owners get through their time of crisis as painlessly as possible, with help from our compassion and expertise.
PuroClean Disaster Restoration Services is family-owned and operated, which means we are involved in every aspect of the operation, and when problems arise, we are honored to have the opportunity to help fix them. We provide no-cost estimates and offer flexible payment terms for property owners whose loss is not covered under insurance or when reporting a loss would potentially impact the current rate a customer pays. Helping property owners by minimizing stress and loss is our main goal.
When a customer contacts us, they can be assured that we will provide immediate and expert response to their water, fire, mold, or biohazard needs. Once a customer provides details of their loss, PuroClean Disaster Restoration Services begins to mobilize and strategize to ensure the least amount of damage occurs to a property. Our owner James Henderson will arrive onsite within four hours, usually two, to assess the property and establish a restoration or mitigation plan. The customer will be communicated with throughout the restoration process, at least daily, to help them understand that our primary goal is to help them get back to their pre-loss condition as quickly and painlessly as possible. We also provide assistance in communicating with insurance carriers, and we work directly with adjusters. Upon completion of the job, the customer will sign off on the services provided and provide a thorough assessment of work completed. We rectify any questions or concerns a customer may have before the customer signs off on the job.

Our owners were born and raised in Central, NY. After spending nearly a decade out west in Nevada, it was an easy decision to move back home to the rolling hills, lumber mills, and glorious green that is Upstate, NY. The region is a wonderful mix of culture, nature, and education institutions. Within Upstate NY, there are multiple historic towns and communities where family-owned businesses thrive. There is access to multiple lakes, organic local produce, and dairy, as well as a diverse culture and history.

Our owners Tekla and James Henderson operated a tile, marble and granite contracting Company in Nevada for nearly ten years, before coming home to NY. James took his contractor experience and found his way to a Project Management role in a restoration company. Tekla took her management experience and served in Human Resources for a large nonprofit in NY State. Their combined love of serving the community and construction makes a great match for PuroClean Disaster Restoration Services. Having grown up on the same street, Tekla and James were destined to share a life together. They are married and have two sons, one of whom is currently learning the business of restoration.
The Lead Technician, Brandon, is a hardworking, dedicated employee. Brandon embodies the mission of PuroClean Disaster Restoration Services with his desire to help others with kindness and empathy.
