PuroClean of Orland Park 
From June 7 through June 10, PuroClean hosted its annual convention at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL. Except for in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic (it was hosted virtually instead), this is a perennial event that gives franchises like us a chance to gather together, discuss new ideas, meet with vendors, celebrate the past year, and look forward to how we can accomplish more in the future.
From our Disaster Services Team, we had 4 attendees: Franchise Owners Keegan Trudgen and Tim Lohse, Sales Rep. (and the Face of the Franchise) Steve Martinez, and Marketing Assistant Abby Coffey. It was a great week golfing, learning, and socializing with our peers, many of whom we have been physically distanced from for over a year.
Keegan’ Marketing Research Study
A major highlight from the convention was when Keegan presented the entire Franchise Network with a marketing study commissioned from his alma mater. The study’s findings were deemed so impressive that Corporate Headquarters reimbursed Keegan and asked him to share the information with his fellow franchise owners.
Marketing Panel Discussion
Keegan was not done sharing his insights at the convention. Alongside fellow franchise owner Craig Hawkins from PuroClean of Redmond and Everett, WA, Madalina Iordache, from Bright Pink Agency, Karen Vick from PuroClean Headquarters, and Alex Preddie from RocketBarn (virtually), Keegan shared his perspective and experience as a franchise marketer in discussion with the other panel members.
Winning 6 Awards
PuroClean Disaster Services was also recognized for our performance at the PuroClean On The Move Awards Dinner. We won a combined 6 awards, including an NLC Member Award for Keegan, 2 Brand Ambassador Awards for Keegan and Tim, a shared President’s Circle Award for Keegan and Tim, a Brand Promise Award for Keegan, and a Rainmaker Award for Keegan.
Meeting With PuroClean Executives, Vendors, and Fellow Franchise Owners
The convention was also a unique opportunity for us to meet with vendors and franchise owners that we normally don’t see in person. There was a day of golfing and evenings of socializing. We also visited booths constructed and hosted by vendors, where we learned about new services and tools being offered that we can use to optimize further the way we operate here. And, it was great to build these personal relationships as well.
