About PuroClean of Tulare

Tulare, California, is a dynamic city located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, positioned along Highway 99 between Fresno and Bakersfield. Its central location makes it an ideal hub for both commerce and recreation, with rich agricultural roots and a strong sense of community. Tulare is best known as the home of the World Ag Expo, the largest annual agricultural exposition in the world, held each February at the International Agri-Center. This globally recognized event attracts visitors and exhibitors from across the globe, showcasing the latest advancements in ag technology, equipment, and farming solutions, and solidifying Tulare’s role as a leader in the ag industry.

Agriculture is the backbone of Tulare’s economy and identity. The surrounding region is one of the most productive farming areas in the nation, producing a wide variety of crops. Vast orchards of oranges, lemons, and grapefruits thrive in the warm climate, while grapes, both for winemaking and table consumption, are another major contributor to the region’s output. Almonds, pistachios, and walnuts are grown extensively across the area’s farmland, alongside dairy, cotton, corn, tomatoes, and stone fruits such as peaches and nectarines. Tulare County consistently ranks among the top agricultural producers in the country, supporting thousands of jobs and feeding communities worldwide.

The city blends rural charm with modern amenities. Shoppers can enjoy the Tulare Outlets, offering a wide range of brand-name stores and dining options. Tulare’s historic downtown reflects early 20th-century architecture and houses local businesses, restaurants, and the Tulare Historical Museum, which highlights the area’s heritage, including exhibits on the Yokuts tribe, local agriculture, and hometown Olympic gold medalist Bob Mathias. Cultural events and seasonal festivals—such as the Tulare County Fair and weekly farmers markets—contribute to a lively and connected atmosphere.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy in and around Tulare. The city is home to beautifully maintained parks like Del Lago, Live Oak, and Centennial Park, which feature walking paths, sports fields, picnic areas, splash pads, and skate plazas. The Santa Fe Trail, a scenic multi-use path, winds through the city and is perfect for walking, jogging, and horseback riding. Just minutes away, Mooney Grove Park in nearby Visalia offers 155 acres of recreational space, historic monuments, a duck pond, disc golf, and the Tulare County Museum.

For those seeking adventure beyond city limits, Tulare serves as a gateway to natural wonders. Lake Kaweah offers boating, fishing, and camping, while Balch Park and Kaweah Oaks Preserve provide hiking trails, giant sequoia groves, and peaceful wildlife habitats. A short drive east leads to the awe-inspiring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, where visitors can explore towering forests, mountain trails, waterfalls, and the famous General Sherman Tree—the largest tree on Earth.

With its strong agricultural legacy, cultural diversity, growing business opportunities, and easy access to both urban conveniences and breathtaking nature, Tulare offers a unique blend of community, heritage, and lifestyle that appeals to residents, visitors, and entrepreneurs alike.
