Pack-Out and Cleaning Position Description:

When customers have damage from water, fire or mold, they often need help moving their furniture and other personal belongings to safety so the cleanup can proceed. The Pack-out and Cleaning Lead Tech leads the team and packs personal belongings, cleans soot and smoke damaged items, cleans soot and smoke damaged structures and performs other general cleaning.

Responsibilities for Pack-Out Lead Technician:

• Understand and address customer concerns –  we are often entering people’s lives on one of their worst days and they are trusting us to make things better
• Follow our process to inventory and pack items so they aren’t damaged –we will train you on our process
• Clean smoke and soot from contents and structures – it is satisfying knowing you made a difference
• Be approachable and professional in your appearance and the work you do

Qualifications for Pack-Out and Cleaning Lead Technician: 

• Details matter, you must be detail oriented
• Passionate and professional about helping people during their difficult time
• What we do is physical, you must be able to work with your hands, lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to work on your feet for prolonged periods of time
• This work is not glamorous, it can be gross and uncomfortable, so you must be willing to face challenges, stay positive and overcome difficulties
• Clear communicator, you will be interacting with customers and co-workers
• Hard-working team leader willing to help others
• Willingness for continued learning and growth, we are always striving to improve

Benefits:

• $22 to $26 per hour depending on experience 
• Overtime as needed
• Paid time off including (5 sick days per year, 5 days of vacation after 6 months, 10 days of vacation after one year)
