Owner and President Bob Jordan creates a culture that makes up what PuroClean Seattle Landmark District is all about

Bob Jordan is the Owner/President,
He is responsible for his family, the people in his company and his customers, the people he serves.

He works in the field as an IICRC certified Water Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, Applied Microbial Remediation, Fire and Smoke Restoration, and Commercial Drying Systems professional. He is also certified in lead abatement, subrogation, deodorization and disinfection, and trauma scene remediation. Bob has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Technologies. He is a licensed professional engineer with a dozen patents and deeply understands the science behind the PuroClean restoration system. Specifically, the engineering behind the myriad of technical equipment used to facilitate restoration and the chemistry behind our proprietary solutions.

Bob and his family have lived in the Seattle area for most of their lives. For Bob, it’s a special privilege to utilize his extensive skills, knowledge and training to assist those with stressful, property damage situations.  Many times, he has said, “When we’re on someone’s porch for the first time, it’s probably not a good day for them!” It is out of his compassion for people that he, and his crew of certified technicians, relentlessly train, study, and pursue excellence to meet the needs of our neighbors in their time of greatest need.  As Bob says, “This is what we do and we’re proud to serve! ”He and his wife Leslie have eight homeschooled children, and five grandchildren!

“Bob started his company because he has a love for helping others.”

Bob Jordan and his whole PuroClean team understand that property damage is a stressful disruption to your daily life, whether it’s damage from fire, water, mold, or a biohazard. Repairing this damage is about more than repairing your property—it’s about getting you back to normal as quickly as possible.

Bob joined PuroClean Seattle Landmark District because he has a love for helping others.

A longtime volunteer and board member with Prisoners for Christ, he has worked for years to help prisoners get back on the right track. “I wanted to be in a brick-and-mortar, team-based enterprise that benefited other people. My volunteer work in jails and prisons seeks to restore lives, and to be in a business that is involved in restoration had that special appeal as well,” says Bob.

Before joining PuroClean, Bob made a career as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry, the Department of Defense, medical device and industrial equipment manufacturing companies, as well as at research and development think tanks. He also taught college Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, and Mathematics for 10 years. Bob has a deep understanding of disaster loss mitigation—in fact, he helped design some of the equipment used in the field in his days as an engineer.

Industry Leadership Through Education

Bob Jordan, the founder of PuroClean of Seattle Landmark District, is more than an experienced restoration professional — he is also a published author and respected industry educator. His book, The Mitigation Handbook, serves as a definitive guide for restoration technicians, contractors, and property managers nationwide. Drawing on decades of hands-on experience in water, fire, mold, and biohazard mitigation, Bob provides clear, practical insights and proven methodologies that elevate standards across the restoration industry. The handbook is used not only by field technicians but also in training programs and certification courses, helping the next generation of professionals uphold quality and best practices. At PuroClean of Seattle Landmark District, this same commitment to knowledge and excellence is evident in every project we undertake. When you work with our team, you benefit from industry-leading expertise shaped by the very principles Bob shares in The Mitigation Handbook.
