Sump Pump Failure Leads to Water and Mold Damage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our team was called to a home in Upper Marlboro to help with a problem caused by a broken sump pump. The sump pump, which is designed to remove water from the basement, was draining back into the house. The excess water caused damage to the home’s structure and all furniture and belongings that were in the basement. When our technicians first arrived, they found mold sprouting up as well. Water and mold tend to go hand-in-hand so we weren’t surprised to find mold growing, it just made the job slightly more complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
