The trouble stemmed from a sink supply line leak. To make matters worse, it had unleashed gray water throughout the home, presenting us with a category-two water loss. The damage spanned from the garage on the main level to the second floor, infiltrating hallways, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a bedroom closet. The water had seeped into various building materials, including drywall, ceiling drywall, insulation, baseboards, laminate flooring, and tile flooring.
Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), our team immediately set up a containment zone with precision and speed. From there, we removed all affected materials and deployed an impressive lineup of 17 industrial air movers and three dehumidifiers. When the drying was complete, we applied an anti-microbial solution to stave off any potential mold growth in the future.
