The largest lake is Waconia\u2019s namesake, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.destinationwaconia.org\/visit\/lake_waconia.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lake Waconia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which is <strong>known to draw the locals and tourists for its host of recreational activities<\/strong> such as sailing, boating, fishing, water-skiing, tubing, jet-skiing, paddling, pontooning, and swimming.&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lake Waconia also encompasses Coney Island, which is known for its picnic areas, walking trails, and bird watching. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.co.carver.mn.us\/departments\/public-works\/parks-recreation\/parks-trails\/lake-waconia-regional-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lake Waconia Regional Park<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> rests on the lake\u2019s shoreline and facilitates one of <strong>3 beaches in Waconia.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Ryan Back, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.puroclean.com\/waconia-mn-puroclean-waconia\/blog\/servant-leader-and-budding-entrepreneur-opens-essential-business-amid-covid-19-pandemic-to-serve-property-owners\/\">PuroClean of Waconia owner<\/a><\/strong>, boasts about the limitless access to outdoor recreation in the city. As a bass fisherman, Ryan appreciates Waconia\u2019s waterways, where <strong>he and his family can be found swimming or fishing<\/strong>.&nbsp; Ryan, his wife, and 3 daughters enjoy spending time at Lake Waconia or Lake Minnetonka. He also enjoys teaching his daughters how to shoot a bow and small firearms. He is a skilled archery and firearm hobbyist.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ryan chose Waconia to set up his company because it\u2019s home, and he\u2019s <strong>always had a desire to be a part of the Carver County community as a business owner<\/strong>. For Ryan, serving Waconia and its surrounding areas means a lot to him because his family roots run deep here. He can trace his lineage and family history to the Waconia area.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Waconia has also exploded in growth over the past 10 years<\/strong>. Its community consists of working families who travel into the Twin Cities for employment. Because they didn\u2019t have flood insurance that covered the damage, Ryan rented equipment and had to conduct the clean-up himself.
