Helping the PuroClean Headquarters Recover from Flooding

In November last year, PuroClean of Wellington provided water damage restoration in Tamarac, FL, at PuroClean’s own headquarters! Water damage is one of those disasters that can happen anywhere — even at the PuroClean premises.

The corporate office in Tamarac, FL was partially flooded due to a faulty ice maker. The training academy and its adjoining offices, the office kitchen, and sections of the staff offices were underwater.

We were one in four PuroClean offices that came to help with removing water and drying up the place. The other teams were PuroClean of Sunrise, PuroClean Of Miramar, and PuroClean of Margate. Shout out to them! They did a great job, and we worked together as a team really well.

First of all, we quickly arrived after they called us. We came with a fleet of vehicles equipped with the tools and materials needed for commercial water damage restoration. Our crew had “Rover Hives” for fast water extraction, heavy-duty LGR dehumidifiers, as well as industrial air movers (aka fans).

Before starting up the equipment, we had to remove furniture and other objects from the affected areas. Then, we quickly deployed our rovers, fans, and dehumidifiers to dry up the carpets and floors to avoid further damage and mold growth.

Although the flooding was pretty severe, the crews quickly turned the situation around — the same that they would do for you in your home or business!
