In an effort to raise awareness and promote prevention of electrical fires, the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) has designated May as National Electrical Safety Month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s campaign highlights important changes in the new 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC) through ESFI\u2019s fourth edition of the National Electrical Safety Month publication, Electrical Safety Illustrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The latest issue, \u201cDecoding the NEC to Prevent Shock and Electrocution\u201d, provides tips on industry standard safety upgrades and guidelines to remain on par with the national code.
