Yes! It is important that the equipment run 24 hours every day. On Average, it takes 72 continuous hours for a property to thoroughly dry out with commercial equipment. In some instances, it may take longer, depending on the materials in the property. For example, concrete, plaster, and other materials take longer to dry than, drywall. We ask that the occupants do not turn off the equipment. This will draw out the length of time the equipment is in the property and can increase the cost of drying to the owner or insurance claim. At the initial visit, our qualified technicians will do an initial moisture reading, and return daily to do moisture readings to ensure the drying process is being achieved.
