Once a year, the Windy City goes green! On March 11th, the PuroClean Disaster Services team made our way down the streets of Chicago during the 68th Annual\u00a0St. Patrick’s Day Parade.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is a beloved city tradition, drawing in thousands of participants and spectators annually to celebrate Irish culture and heritage. When the opportunity to take part in the parade was offered to us, we agreed wholeheartedly! We never miss a moment to participate in our community’s fun and festivities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team loved marching down the parade route dressed in our finest emerald-green attire and accessories. We even had a few opportunities to interact with revelers interested in our business!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were proud to represent PuroClean in the parade. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Our reasons for marching in the parade went beyond simply having a good time. We also honored and raised awareness for our co-worker, George Mitchell, who experienced a life-changing motorcycle accident last year. The devastating accident required a prolonged hospital stay and multiple surgeries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the valiant efforts by his doctors, his spinal cord injury has left George permanently paralyzed from the chest down. As a result of the significant physical setbacks, he could not continue working with PuroClean, so his road to recovery has been long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also raised awareness for George’s inspiring recovery.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

St. Patrick’s Day means a lot to George, a man of proud Irish lineage, so we were honored to march on his behalf. He’ll always be a cherished member of our PuroClean family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
