PuroClean of Wolf Creek’s Beginnings

PuroClean of Wolf Creek had the pleasure of traveling to Texas in February 2021 to aid those affected by Winter Storm Uri. This winter storm is actually at the forefront of how PuroClean of Wolf Creek came into fruition. 

The Texas Snow Storm

Winter Storm Uri was an unprecedented period of winter weather that happened from February 10th-18th, 2021. Bitterly cold temperatures were below freezing, and many parts of South Central Texas were snowed in. This was one of the most dynamic winter events in recent years, causing many without power, broken pipes, power outages. 

Our First Shot

Amid completing training for PuroClean, we heard of a crazy snowstorm that affected Texas. Our Regional Director was visiting our office to assist with our grand opening and immediately encouraged us to go to Texas as it would be an excellent opportunity to gain some valuable experience and earn some revenue at the same time.  Tim and Will met for the first time in a McDonald’s parking lot and traveled to Texas as strangers. They completed ten water restoration jobs while in Texas and were able to see a significant profit as a new franchise. This proved to be an invaluable training opportunity that is still being utilized today.
