Virus Decontamination and Protection in Bartlett, IL

Viruses are small, simply composed, and can only multiply in the living cells of animals, plants, or bacteria. Viruses are germs that are microorganisms smaller than a bacterium and do not have the ability to reproduce or grow without a living cell. Viruses attack living cells and use their chemical machinery to sustain and replicate themselves. Many common human infections as well as a number of rare diseases are caused by viruses.

Not all viral diseases are contagious, meaning they cannot be spread from person to person. Contagious viral infections can include the common cold, flu, or other respiratory infections.

Viral infections include:

  1. Infections transferred person-to-person:
    • COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases (the common cold, flu, etc.)
    • Hepatitis, Ebola – spread through bodily fluids
    • Warts, measles, chickenpox, and other contagious skin infections or rashes
  2. Infections transferred by insects, animals, or food, water, or other sources:
    • Gastrointestinal (stomach flu) – spread through contaminated food or water
    • Viral diseases spread by insects (viral meningitis, dengue fever, yellow fever, H1N1)
    • Viruses spread through the bite of infected animals or bugs (polio, rabies, etc.)

If you feel that your home or office has been impacted by the COVID-19 or any other virus or infection, contact your local PuroClean professionals. Cleaning your home after it has been compromised with the coronavirus or any other infectious disease is an important step to keeping yourself and your family safe. Our IICRC certified offices are trained to handle virus decontamination and protection with discretion. We will restore your property to its pre-event condition.

Maintaining a clean environment is the key to reducing the spread of viruses. Many have cleaned for appearance; however, recent virus outbreaks that have led to declarations of pandemic proportions have highlighted the need to clean for health.

Virus protection and decontamination includes a risk of exposure. Due to this, it is imperative to employ reputable and dependable technicians ensuring the reduction of risk from liability due to improper cleanup efforts or the danger of spreading potentially contagious pathogens. Reach out to PuroClean, your Paramedics of Property Damage®, at (630) 823-0424, for your virus decontamination and protection work.

Handling potentially hazardous materials is a significant risk to technicians every time they work with them. Therefore, adhering to the correct training and safety procedures is quite crucial. Not only is this important for their own personal safety, but it also protects those who will live and/or work inside the premises when this and other cleanup is complete.

Coronavirus Cleanup

In an effort to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, which continues to rise globally, health and government officials maintain that the public must take necessary measures to protect themselves. One of the best ways to slow the progress of the coronavirus is to perform deep mitigation cleaning. PuroClean’s team of highly trained IICRC professionals uses the RapidDefense™ system to provide deep mitigation cleaning in areas compromised by a coronavirus or Influenza, or any other respiratory infection impacting your property. Using this process, the team will carefully contain the area and will minimize the risk of pathogens spreading using hospital-grade Environmental Protection Agency-registered (EPA) products. If there are any lingering odors, our trained technicians will deodorize the area and return your property back to its pre-loss condition with empathy and care. These methods of cleaning can be utilized for institutions, commercial, and residential properties. Call your local PuroClean office for more information on how we can help clean your property.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Julian and his partner from Puroclean. On Tuesday I had an upstairs toilet overflow down into my family room ceiling. I didn’t know who to call so I just picked them from google and they came out right away and helped with the clean up and put fans and a dehumidifier to dry everything out. They also had to cut out the damaged ceiling so it could be replaced. They were both friendly and professional, gave me a reasonable estimate, and since, I am disabled, helped me with a couple of things that went about and beyond the call of duty. They made a very anxious lady a little calmer through this whole situation. Thank you again Julian and partner (I’m sorry I forgot your name).

Puroclean of Bartlett is amazing! The office quickly responded to our request for help! Julian called that day to setup an estimate and assess the water damage. Within minutes, Julian assessed minimum water damage. As precaution-sprayed with mold prevention and left a dehumidifier and fan to ensure no moisture remained behind shower wall. He returned to gather equipment and double checked all was well. He was very knowledgeable, polite and explained every step as he proceeded. He ensured our home stayed clean and neat during all his work. We highly recommend Bartlett’s Puroclean for all your water damage remediation - C. Schoaf
