As seen in the photos, the technicians wear a full-face respirator to guard against splashes. They also wear biohazard protective coveralls, shoe covers, and Nitrile gloves.

In the cleanup, we used an EPA-certified solution, applying it directly to a limited amount of high touch services. The solution contains pharmaceutical ingredients that meet OSHA’s bloodborne pathogen standard against viruses, bacteria, or mold. Also, our cleaning tools include disposable microfiber wipes, brushes and sponges, mops and buckets, pressure sprays, and carpet extractors.

The biggest obstacle was not cleaning up the surfaces, though. It was in fact dealing with the elevator and getting crew up and down to complete work tasks! Due to social distancing and limited access to the building, only a few people were allowed on one ride.
