Following IICRC S500 industry standards, our certified technicians implemented a comprehensive restoration plan:

  • Inspection & Documentation:
    • Conducted a full inspection and uploaded photos to document the loss.
  • Drying & Equipment Setup:
    • Basement Bathroom: 1 large dehumidifier (LDH), 1 air filtration device (AFD), and 4 air movers.
    • Main Floor Bathroom: 1 LDH, 1 DryForce system with 2 mats, 2 air movers, and 1 AFD.
  • Demolition & Drying in Place:
    • Basement Bathroom: Dried onsite drywall ceiling (25%), drywall walls (10%), and baseboards (6 LF).
    • Main Level Bathroom: Applied floor mats to dry hardwood flooring (50%), dried onsite drywall walls (10%), and baseboards.
  • Final Steps:
    • Applied antimicrobial treatments to prevent secondary damage.
    • Set up containment and equipment to ensure thorough drying.
    • Used PPE and HEPA vacuuming to maintain a safe environment.

After 4 hours of focused work by two technicians, the property was stabilized and moisture levels were reduced to safe, industry-standard levels. By combining targeted drying technology with minimal demolition, we preserved structural integrity while ensuring a safe environment for the homeowners.
