We arrived at the home to see that downed trees were lying on the roof of the home. Our franchise owners also own an excavation company, so we could easily bring in the equipment needed to remove them. This saved the client both time and money, as they did not need to hire a tree-removal contractor to do the work. We were able to complete this aspect of the job within a few hours of the storm passing.
With the trees removed, we were able to identify locations where the house did receive some water damage due to the trees puncturing the roof. We reacted by placing a tarp over the roof so no further amount of water could enter the exposure. Then, we took the next step: drying the water damage.
Thankfully, the water damage was dealt with quickly after it began, which minimized the effects. We finished up the job by repairing the roof. This is a type of reconstruction that our technicians are trained to complete on-site. With this, we were able to complete the restoration, bringing the home back to its pre-loss condition.
