Our Story

PuroClean of Plantation’s owner, Jose M. Pureco, says he loves the Fort Lauderdale area because of its diversity and energy. He emigrated from Mexico over 20 years ago and has enjoyed seeing and being part of Plantation’s growth. Jose says there is much activity in Fort Lauderdale from tourists and new residents, alike. Tourists come to spend time at the beaches, like the bustling Hollywood North Beach Park or the quieter Dania Beach area. Tourists and residents enjoy shopping at local malls, like Sawgrass Mills, and new residents are flocking to the area from across the world to experience the warmth and wide array of community activities in South Florida.

Because this area attracts many tourists, business owners need to be particularly diligent in providing safe, sanitized spaces for people to gather. Also, while Plantation and the surrounding areas are full of community activity, the hurricane season is not far from people’s minds. From June 1st through November 30th hurricanes can cause significant damage to homes and businesses. Even outside of the notorious hurricane season, heavy rainfall leads to flooding and subsequent mold damage issues.

Jose M. Pureco, of PuroClean of Plantation has had friends experience property damage and personally witnessed the desperation and mixed emotions involved. He recognizes the importance of knowing who to call when the unexpected happens.
