Our Story

PuroClean of Waconia is located in the city of Waconia.  One of the attractive things about Waconia is its landscape of multiple bodies of water consisting of beaches, lakes, and rivers. The largest lake is Waconia’s namesake, Lake Waconia, which is known to draw the locals and tourists for its host of recreational activities such as sailing, boating, fishing, water-skiing, tubing, jet-skiing, paddling, pontooning, and swimming.  Lake Waconia also encompasses Coney Island, which is known for its picnic areas, walking trails, and bird watching. Lake Waconia Regional Park rests on the lake’s shoreline and facilitates one of 3 beaches in Waconia.

Ryan Back, PuroClean of Waconia owner, boasts about the limitless access to outdoor recreation in the city. As a bass fisherman, Ryan appreciates Waconia’s waterways, where he and his family can be found swimming or fishing.  Ryan, his wife, and 3 daughters enjoy spending time at Lake Waconia or Lake Minnetonka. He also enjoys teaching his daughters how to shoot a bow and small firearms. He is a skilled archery and firearm hobbyist.

Ryan chose Waconia to set up his company because it’s home, and he’s always had a desire to be a part of the Carver County community as a business owner. For Ryan, serving Waconia and its surrounding areas means a lot to him because his family roots run deep here. He can trace his lineage and family history to the Waconia area.

Waconia has also exploded in growth over the past 10 years. Its community consists of working families who travel into the Twin Cities for employment. Ryan hopes to support that growth by offering job opportunities to the local residents.

Serving Local Residential and Manufacturing Areas

With a service area consisting mainly of single-family homes and apartment complexes, PuroClean of Waconia provides vital services of water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, and mold removal and biohazard clean-up. These services are not limited to residential property, but Ryan has had experience walking through the stress associated with residential flooding.

Ryan understands first-hand the importance of having trained professionals, state-of-the-art equipment, and insurance mediation for water-damaged properties. Years ago, he experienced the distress of flooding in his former home and the overwhelming pressure of trying to keep his family safe while sorting out the details of saving his property. Ryan and his wife had an egress window in the basement that failed during a torrential downpour. After heavy rains persisted for almost a week, the window well filled up, and the frame became rotten.  One afternoon, the window finally gave way, and their basement was flooded. Because they didn’t have flood insurance that covered the damage, Ryan rented equipment and had to conduct the clean-up himself. These circumstances led to a complete renovation of his basement.

The team at PuroClean of Waconia knows there may come a time when a property owner may have to face a similar situation. It’s always unexpected. Ryan hopes that residents and businesses of the Carver County, West and Southwest side of the Twin Cities, metro and suburban areas, will trust PuroClean to help whenever property damage strikes. He wants residents to know that the company’s goal is to restore the customer’s property to its original state as quickly as possible.  He never wants a customer to go through the stress he experienced.  “Property damage is a stressful situation,” Ryan said, “and being the first and last on the scene is what we strive for.”

The manufacturing presence in Carver County also presents a need for PuroClean’s biohazard clean-up services and sanitation work related to protecting people from COVID-19. There are no challenges that PuroClean of Waconia can’t handle. Contact us anytime at (952) 246-0200. We are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help restore your property to its pre-damaged state.
