Meet Scott Henion, Relationship Manager
Scott is a fourth-generation “Norwalker” after his great-grandparents emigrated to the area from Scandinavia, Germany, Ireland, and the Netherlands. He is the caregiver to both of his parents and can frequently be seen out-and-about with his 96-year-old great-aunt, who still lives independently in East Norwalk. He graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT and his son works in the field of Law in New York City.
Members of his family founded the East Norwalk Boating & Yacht Club and Scott is a proud Past Commodore. He is certified in Scuba and very much enjoys exploring the world under the water! He loves being on the waters of Long Island Sound and the Chesapeake Bay, at the home of one of his older brothers (a former member of the Norwalk Police Department.)
Driven by a deeply-rooted love for our community, Scott is a member of the Metropolitan Community Church of New York – home of The Sylvia Rivera Food Pantry, Homeless Youth Services (Sylvia’s Place), and the Global Justice Institute. He is also a supporter of the local Chambers of Commerce, Triangle Community Center, Mid Fairfield AIDS Project, and numerous other local community activities.
