Our team received a call this past April regarding a wall-to-wall mold problem in Fayetteville. Upon arriving at the scene, we discovered that the mold growth had stretched 40 square feet, affecting the kitchen, basement, and laundry room. We immediately put on our personal protective equipment (PPE) gear and conducted an initial assessment.
During our assessment, we used infrared cameras and moisture meters to determine how much moisture was in the walls, ceilings, and floors. Once we gauged the severity of the mold infestation, we sectioned off the contaminated site from the rest of the home to prevent mold from spreading to unaffected areas. We used state-of-the-art HEPA air filtration devices to eliminate airborne mold spores.

Mold Remediation and Home Restoration
After securing the area and ensuring it was safe for mold removal, we removed the compromised building materials and contents according to industry standards. Our crew transported the contaminated contents to a separate facility for disposal. Then, we purified the room with HEPA air filters and vacuums, ensuring the air quality was safe and mold-free.
Our final step was applying an EPA-registered disinfectant thoroughly to all surfaces. We followed the disinfectant with HEPA vacuuming one last time. An air quality check was completed with passing results, assuring our client that their home was safe, mold-free, and ready for the next phase.
Although this mold remediation project was extensive, it was hardly challenging for our IICRC-certified technicians. The clients were delighted with our professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency. Great job, everyone!
