Professional Odor Removal Services in Raleigh, NC

At PuroClean Disaster Response Services, we specialize in professional odor removal services to address even the toughest odors. Our team of trained and IICRC-certified technicians uses advanced techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to locate the source of the odor, clean affected areas, and restore your property to its pre-damage condition.

Our odor removal services are designed to eliminate odors permanently, not just mask them. We understand how distressing odor problems can be, and we’re here to provide expert solutions with compassion and efficiency.

Steps in Our Odor Removal Process

1. Removing the Source from Affected Area(s):
The first step in effective odor removal is identifying and removing the source of the odor. Our trained technicians will inspect your property to locate the source, whether it’s a hidden biohazard, chemical residue, or contamination. Once identified, we will carefully remove the source following state, federal, EPA, and OSHA regulations for proper disposal.

2. Cleaning the Affected Area(s):
After removing the source, we thoroughly clean the affected areas using the best techniques, equipment, and products. This includes our specialized PuroClean RapidDefense™ Program , which applies EPA-approved hospital-grade disinfectants to sanitize surfaces. Odors are then neutralized using advanced methods, such as ozone shock treatment and thermal fogging, to ensure complete deodorization.

3. Sealing the Affected Area(s):
Once the affected areas are cleaned, our technicians will seal them to trap any remaining odor-causing particles. This step ensures that offensive odors cannot resurface and guarantees long-lasting results. The sealed areas will no longer pose a threat to you, your family, or your pets.

4. Post-Construction Services for Affected Area(s):
If materials or surfaces were removed during the odor removal process, we offer rebuilding and replacement services to restore your property fully. This includes repairing drywall, flooring, or other structural elements to ensure your property is returned to its original condition.

If you’re looking for a company like PuroClean, chances are you’re in the middle of a very stressful experience and you’re looking for a seasoned professional that you can trust to guide you through the process and get your home and your life back on track. That’s what we needed, and Glenn seemed to suit our needs. But while he initially presented himself as eager to help and willing to guide us every step of the way, once we were in the thick of it and at his mercy, we experienced broken promises, and a sudden hostile personality change. From literally saying the words, “I’m here to explain it all to you, if you have the same question ten times that just means it’s important and you need to understand”... to... “I can’t keep going over this with you, if you don’t sign I’m going to have my crew leave immediately”— all because I asked him to explain what effect the form had on the work they would do that day. His crew confirmed there would be no difference, they would be completing a peroxide spray down of the crawl space whether we were waiving post clearance testing, or not. Glenn also told me that when our dry-out was complete, he could have his floor guy to us immediately and without delay. I stressed this to him more than once, because I know how busy contractors are these days and I was trying to keep things moving. He told me his guy would come immediately. Then I asked about how this contractor would be paid, and he said, “I pay my guys, and then when your insurance check comes, you pay me.” But suddenly, the day before the flooring guy is due to come out, I get mixed messages and ignored (first, a text stating we would need to pay in full; then, a conversation in which he blamed Siri for the misinformation and stated we would just need to pay the deductible (which we had explained several times that we had already satisfied); and then, promises to look into it and get back to me by the end of the day which he did not do). Along the way he made several small promises (ie to check in with the air quality testing company to see if our report could be expedited, to check in by text daily about progress, to return a call “after my conference call” which he never did, only responding a day later upon my follow up.) Ultimately, with about twelve hours until his floor guy was due to show up, he finally answered by text to say that PuroClean would no longer be able to help with repairs as they were “too busy”. When I reminded him he said all along that the very guy he was sending was to be his subcontractor, he admitted his lie. At that point, we had (THANK GOODNESS!) already hired a different floor contractor to come. Now, the good. The techs are great. Wayne, especially, went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and concerns, and never seemed annoyed by my desire to understand. He even told me he worried that him/his crew may have damaged by dryer, since there was a dent on top. A photo I had taken prior to the start of work showed it was pre-existing, but I was so heartened by his honesty even when it may have been a liability to himself. He was great, a real asset to the company. It’s too bad they couldn’t have someone like him on the customer service end of things. That said, Wayne was the only positive part of the experience with PuroClean, and unfortunately, that was not enough to overcome how terrible of an experience we had with Glenn.
