Last month, we provided water damage restoration in McCordsville, IN to remediate a flood caused by a toilet tank. This was an upstairs toilet tank that cracked and affected the upstairs bathroom and downstairs basement.

As part of the water damage restoration process, we had to remove the tub and surround in bathroom. In addition, we had to demolish the bathroom vanity and downstairs ceiling.

Fortunately, mold didn’t have time to develop, as we extracted the moisture quickly. So that was a bullet that was dodged! To dry up the area, we used high-capacity air movers that create a vortex, similar to the motion of a tornado. We also used professional dehumidifiers, which draws in cool, wet air and blows out warm, dry air.
We completed the job in about one week after it began. During the process, we aimed at providing water damage repair with compassion and minimal disruption to the client’s daily life. Our project manager, Everett Jones, made a very good impression on the customer.
