Meet PuroClean of Hillsboro owner, Ben Doebler

Ben founded our company when he moved here 7 years ago with his wife and 4 children. Using his 16 years of management and service experience he has grown the company from himself and a garage to a team of over 25 employees working from 3 facilities throughout the Portland Metro area. Ben credits his success to the blessings of God, the support of his loving family, and the hard work and dedication of his staff. Ben’s expertise has been recognized by the IICRC where he currently holds, among others, the designation as a Master Water Restorer. While his success has made an impact here locally, it has also earned recognition within the entire PuroClean franchise system by being awarded the prestigious President’s Award for the last 4 years in a row. When not working on the business, Ben enjoys being active in his local church, playing football at home with his family in Forest Grove, or strumming out a tune on his guitar.

We love our community

At our office, we love our community for the food, the beer, and the outdoors! And, because we are one of the fastest-growing cities, we meet people from all over the world regularly. Why wouldn’t we love Portland? Come visit Portland, and you will want to move here. Once you see and experience Portland, you will see how great it is and want to stay.

The Portland Metropolitan area is one of the few places in the US where you can be on the mountain in the snow or at the coast by the ocean in less than two hours. Portland is a truly beautiful city where one can experience hikes in the forest, waterfalls, and lakes, without effort. Due to this, the people who live in the Portland Metro area are active and diverse. We enjoy that about our work!

Portland is a special place for many reasons. Over the past five years, Portland has received several awards or recognition’s, including:

  • America’s Best Food City (Washington Post)
  • 10th Fastest Growing City in America (Forbes.com)
  • #1 Greenest City in America (Travel + Leisure)
  • Voted America’s Best City for Beer Lovers (Travel + Leisure)
  • Named one of the Top 10 Best Cities for Urban Forests (American Forests)
  • #1 Best Bike City (Bicycling Magazine)

Supporting local organizations

PuroClean of Hillsboro is a member of the local BBB. We also like to support local events and charities like The Portland Marathon and The Oregon Food Bank. Our team is active in the community by donating our time and energy to the local public schools. We love participating in clean-up projects, reading with 1st graders, and more.

Recently, Ben and Angela, our office manager, spent the better part of the day listening and providing helpful feedback to eighth-graders giving speeches to practice public speaking. This was a great opportunity to invest in the kids of our local area and for them to interact with local business people.
