We use an ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) meter for both pre- and post-cleaning validation. ATP is a molecule found in all living and once-living cells. Its presence on a surface indicates organic residue, which is used to measure the effectiveness of our cleanup. Low ATP levels confirm that the scene is hygienically clean and safe for reoccupation.
