Rashanae Arnwine: Love Without Walls
We started in October of 2025 asking our community to share with us their unsung heroes in our surrounding area. In the past five months, with the help of MIX 104.1 and Steve Hartline, we have been able to recognize some amazing unacclaimed heroes in our local counties. This month’s hero was nominated by Sean Huff a PuroClean team member who knew our hero since childhood and saw how much she was quietly helping her fellowman.
She is Rashanae Arnwine, and she founded and leads the mental health center Love Without Walls. The mission of Love Without Walls is to break down barriers to mental health care by providing compassionate, accessible, and holistic sesrvices. The center is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families can heal, grow, and thrive. Guided by a commitment to honor dignity, respect and hope, the organization works to empower the community to overcome challenges, embrace their strengths, and achieve emotional well-being. Shalon Tooley serves as the Executive Director for the organization. Ms. Tooley founded an organization in 2016 called Kyngdom Inspirations that works alongside Love Without Walls.
Part of Love Without Walls day to day focus on people with mental healt needs is making sure those in need are clothed and fed as well. Their services include tutoring, parenting, couples therapy, and more. They assist with drug and alcohol assessments and medication management. The center has become a sanctuary. They don’t just offer therapy; they offer hope. They don’t just provide drug and alcohol assessments; they provide a path home to oneself. Whether it is feeding the hungry, clothing the weary, or tutoring a child, Love Without Walls operates with the belief that true healing begins when a person’s basic needs and their soul are both nourished.They are truly a ministry to people of our surrounding communities primarily in Athens and soon to be Etowah.
Under Ms. Arnwine’s leadership, the practice has continued to expand and include a diverse team of experienced therapists as well a expanded services to meet the unique needs of individuals. Love Without Walls will be opening soon in Etowah where they will host women in drug rehabilatation for 72 hours — a critical window where compassion can quite literally save a life. In March and April they will be hiring LPNs, RNs, therapists and others to aid in this ministry.
Rashanae, you have built a ministry of empathy that honors the strength in every individual. For your courage, your tireless dedication, and your refusal to let any wall stand between a person and their well-being, we are humbled to name you PuroClean’s March SuperHero of the Month.
