We are a family-owned and -operated business based in McKinney, Texas. Our owners, Gerry Wall and Torri DeCocq, have worked in the industry for more than 10 years. Gerry joined the PuroClean brand in 2013 because this was a perfect fit with his experience and qualifications in Thermography, Electrical, Building structure knowledge, Mold, and Ventilation. Torri joined in 2014 and is the heart and sole of the Company touching everything from accounts to work flow processes as well as the General Construction side of the Company.

At our office, our passion and motivation are helping people. We strive to do this by educating people to take steps to limit the damage caused by water, fire, and mold. We turn any unfortunate water damage into a successful restoration project by communicating with the home and business owner throughout the repair stage, updating the insurance adjuster with moisture readings and samples of damaged property, and using the latest and most effective restoration techniques in the most efficient and convenient way.

We will measure the extent of damage with moisture meters, thermal cameras, and air particle counters, carefully marking the affected areas of your home or business. We treat every property as if it were our very own and will only remove the damage that is necessary. Our clean-up process is meticulous.
Our McKinney-based PuroClean serves Collin County and its surrounding areas from Richardson to Sherman. We do business in Allen, Fairview, Princeton, Anna, East Plano, Richardson, McKinney, Wylie, and Lucas. We are located near family, which is how we came to reside in this town. We have developed strong relationships with the local community that we serve and who serve us.
Our location is unique because it is well connected to most of the North Dallas highways, which makes it easier to attend to a loss in a timely manner. We work with local insurance agents and businesses to provide our community with the “best in class” service. We put the customer first.
The community of McKinney is like no other, as the people truly care about the environment and preserving it for the next generation. The local businesses and schools operate to a very high standard, and we are all proud of our city. We have end-of-year block parties and participate in the local carnivals. The people are very friendly and not shy to lend a hand or offer advice.
As part of the community, we are members of IICRC, BBB and active members of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. We help with the children’s ministry at Stonebriar and are part of the care team helping to care for those in need. Our owner Gerry holds the IICRC in WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT, CDS as well as having his MRC in mold.
Gerry and Torri are the owners of PuroClean of North McKinney in McKinney, Texas. Gerry will usually attend to a disaster in-person to make sure the best advice is given in assessing the extent of damage to the property. He will update the customers throughout the restoration process. Torri manages the processes that drive the business toward maximum efficiency and effectiveness, in order to exceed our customers’ expectations. Gerry has operated his own business since the early 90’s in the UK, when in 2009 he was elected and appointed as a committee member of the Institute for the Development of Energy Assessors, a body of knowledge working toward a safer, greener community. He represented all UK Energy Assessors at Government level stakeholder meetings and round table talks, advising on developing the Green Deal. He is a qualified thermal imaging professional and spearheaded the use of thermal cameras in measuring moisture and changes in dwellings, volunteering with Greenpeace a non-profit organization to capture measurements. He introduced a new concept, branding itself by incorporating thermography into the energy performances of buildings, especially domestic dwellings helping to address fuel poverty in the UK. He is also a Building Analyst and Envelope Professional proficient in using air-tightness testing, thermography, air-conditioning systems, and combustion appliance zones.
