We are a family-owned and -operated business based in McKinney, Texas. Our owners, Gerry Wall and Torri DeCocq, have worked in the industry for more than 10 years. Gerry joined the PuroClean brand in 2013 because this was a perfect fit with his experience and qualifications in Thermography, Electrical, Building structure knowledge, Mold, and Ventilation. Torri joined in 2014 and is the heart and sole of the Company touching everything from accounts to work flow processes as well as the General Construction side of the Company.

At our office, our passion and motivation are helping people. We strive to do this by educating people to take steps to limit the damage caused by water, fire, and mold. We will measure the extent of damage with moisture meters, thermal cameras, and air particle counters, carefully marking the affected areas of your home or business. We treat every property as if it were our very own and will only remove the damage that is necessary. Our clean-up process is meticulous.
Our McKinney-based PuroClean serves Collin County and its surrounding areas from Richardson to Sherman. We do business in Allen, Fairview, Princeton, Anna, East Plano, Richardson, McKinney, Wylie, and Lucas. We are located near family, which is how we came to reside in this town. The community of McKinney is like no other, as the people truly care about the environment and preserving it for the next generation. The local businesses and schools operate to a very high standard, and we are all proud of our city. We have end-of-year block parties and participate in the local carnivals. The people are very friendly and not shy to lend a hand or offer advice.
As part of the community, we are members of IICRC, BBB and active members of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. We help with the children’s ministry at Stonebriar and are part of the care team helping to care for those in need. Our owner Gerry holds the IICRC in WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT, CDS as well as having his MRC in mold.
Gerry and Torri are the owners of PuroClean of North McKinney in McKinney, Texas. Gerry is typically involved on-site when a disaster occurs, helping assess the extent of damage and providing clear, practical guidance. He also keeps customers informed throughout the restoration process so they understand what’s happening at each stage.
Torri focuses on the operational side of the business. She manages the internal processes that keep everything running efficiently, with the goal of delivering consistent service and meeting customer expectations on every project.
Gerry has been running his own business since the early 1990s in the UK. In 2009, he was elected and appointed as a committee member of the Institute for the Development of Energy Assessors, where he contributed to initiatives focused on creating safer and more energy-efficient communities. He also represented UK Energy Assessors at government-level stakeholder meetings and roundtable discussions, including those related to the development of the Green Deal.
He is a qualified thermal imaging professional and has been involved in advancing the use of thermography in building analysis. He volunteered with Greenpeace to capture thermal measurements in residential properties and helped introduce the use of thermal cameras to identify moisture issues and inefficiencies in buildings. His work also contributed to improving energy performance in homes and addressing fuel poverty in the UK.
In addition, Gerry is a Building Analyst and Envelope Professional with experience in air-tightness testing, thermography, HVAC systems, and combustion appliance zones. This background supports a more detailed and accurate approach to property assessment and restoration.
