I just wanted to take a minute to thank PuroFirst for the excellent serivce provided for the mitigation. Home leak is stressful but they responded promptly. From the first call to the final paperwork, all went well. The Technicians Haroldo Vargas, Manuel de Paz, and Fredy Castañeda were respectful and diligent. Thank you Purofirst! I recently found myself in a terrible situation, late in the evening and needed help. I manage a high rise HOA in Bethesda, where the problem occurred. There was a plumbing backup coming from a kitchen sink drain pipe. Filthy pipe water ended up shooting out across this newly renovated kitchen and beyond. The homeowner was beside herself and called for quick action. I reach out to Keith Bock at Purofirst. He answered my call on (what felt like) the first ring and quickly helped dispatch a team to my community to handle to cleanup and restoration. I unfortunately do not have before and after pictures to share, but you can imagine what black sludge looks like, after spraying floors, cabinets and walls, especially white ones. We were concerned that permanent damage would be the result, however the cleaning crew from Purofirst did such an amazing job that all was salvageable. Keith and his crew’s quick and thorough action saved me and gave me much relief, especially during a time of great anxiety. I understand that Purofirst is quite capable of restoring homes with much more extensive damage, but thankfully they were able to save me from the added replacement costs I initially thought may be the case. Purofirst personnel are excellent. Checked out my basement to be sure no problems after replaced leaky pipes. Very thorough inspection and reassured me no problems which meant no business for them.

We had a major water heater leak, and the Purofirst team was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Emergency Services Division Manager DJ got a crew out to our home within just a couple of hours. The remediation team, led by technician Antonio, worked quickly and efficiently. Antonio was extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and conscientious — he explained every step of the process and checked in regularly throughout the week-long remediation. DJ remained very responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions along the way. When it came time for repairs, Claims Specialist Collin was equally professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail. He was there at the start of the work to ensure that the scope was well understood and even stopped by at the end to make sure everything was done properly and that we were satisfied. The repair team, Alex and Patricio, were professional, efficient, and meticulous — they left our home even better than it was before the leak. We highly recommend Purofirst for their professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of work.

We needed some remediation in our basement. Enrique Auza was super professional, educational, and practical about what was needed. He was our third reference. Others instilled fear and were unreasonably expensive. Enrique took a more pragmatic and educational approach. He was financially reasonable without diminishing the work that needed to be done. His team was great.

Purofirst did a great job for our community. They cleaned a hallway/stairwell (4 stories) - that had smoke odor and smoke film from a minor kitchen fire. Very professional job - we were more than satisfied.
