AKRON, Ohio – (September 16, 2021) – Software tech-turned-entrepreneur William Hagey of Akron, OH, is the latest “Paramedic of Property Damage” to join PuroClean’s network of franchise owners serving their communities’ property restoration needs. With the opening of his new business, PuroClean of Akron, Hagey will lead a team of highly trained technicians to assist property owners with water, fire, mold, and biohazard removal, including COVID-19 specialized cleaning services.
“Opening a PuroClean franchise will allow me to give more of myself to my community, and that’s something that is very important to me,” said Hagey. “The service we provide is a necessity that directly affects the livelihood of our customers, and my team and I prioritize that above all. I was also attracted to PuroClean because service brands, and the restoration industry specifically, have proven to be recession-resistant, and PuroClean has a culture of collaboration, which I enjoy.”
With a bachelor’s degree in labor economics and a master’s degree in education from the University of Akron, Hagey started his career as an education coordinator before moving into the tech industry. He primarily serviced software technology for country clubs, golf clubs, and yacht clubs, allowing him to travel often and meet his clients personally. Hagey’s strategic support and customer service background will also be integral to his new PuroClean business.
“We are thrilled that PuroClean now has a presence in Akron, and we are proud to have Bill and his team as part of our family, offering local residents and businesses access to quality restoration and remediation services,” said Steve White, President and COO of PuroClean.
For more than 20 years, PuroClean has helped home and business owners with their restoration and remediation needs, serving communities across the United States and Canada with a network of over 360 offices.
