Tropical Storm Causes Water Damage to North Miami Beach Home

When Tropical Storm Alex unleashed a deluge of rain in South Florida in June 2022, many areas in the region experienced flooding. One homeowner who lived near Aventura saw six inches of flood water invade their property due to blocked drainage in front of the home.

We also tore out damaged materials and furniture. Because of the extensive damage, our team performed a two-foot flood cut throughout the home. A flood cut penetrates through and removes damaged drywall a few inches above the water level. After doing so, the remaining structures in the house had to be dried to begin rebuilding the affected areas.

To everyone’s dismay, the client’s insurance did not cover the flood damage, so our team found a way to make the water damage restoration fit their budget.
